Focus and Scope
Higher Education and Oriental Studies (HEOS) highlights the Asian concerns and awareness of Higher Education-related issues from an Eastern Oriental perspective. It provides a venue for the publication of research and development in Oriental Studies drawing on disciplinary, inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary knowledge at Institutions of Higher Learning. Aspects of university and higher education that have implications on pedagogy, learning and educational management are of particular interest. It also highlights the views on Educational Entrepreneurship and the relevance of Higher education to the Industry from among and within countries in Asia.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Peer Review Process
Each submission will undergo:
- Content (Suitability to the Journal Scope) and technical screening(Including plagiarism checking using TurnItin)
- Double blind review by two reviewers
- Revision of manuscript by author/s
- Editorial screening/decision
Correspondence Articles (By Invitation only)
Correspondence articles are short articles (usually 1500 - 2000 words) that either: present findings, or discuss topical issues of particular interest to the community, or re-analyse part of an article that has previously been published. Some references are to be included. The correspondence articles section is commission-only and the journal does not accept unsolicited contributions.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
The Article Processing Charge (APC) for papers submitted to Higher Education and Oriental Studies (HEOS) is USD 400.
Repository Policy
HEOS allows all versions of the paper to be deposited in an institutional or other repository of the author’s choice without embargo.
